Science National Honor Society is an academic honor society focused on science for high school students within the United States. The society was established in 2000 in Texas and has expanded to over 277 schools in 33 states. It is a prestigious society that will engender a new group of young thinkers who will be the future of industry, research, and scientific exploration for America. At Collins Hill High School, this honors society is known for its outstanding science fair research done by sophomores, juniors and seniors. The highly developed project enables the researcher to represent CHHS at Regional, State and even National competitions. SNHS not only helps with community service but also puts together Science Odyssey Night where its members share their research and demonstrate science related activities. In this time of rapidly changing technologies and scientific advancement, Science National Honors Society honors the brightest students in the field of science.
