The following events are also required to remain in the club:
- Completion of either a science fair or teaching project.
- Attending and participating in Science Odyssey Night (either as a presenter or support staff).
- Participation in more than 50% of the club meetings.
- Participation in at least one elementary science night.
1. Science Fair – See Date Sheet for breakdown of points and due dates.
All SNHS members completing a science fair project are expected to more on to the school science fair. If your project does not move on, at the discretion of the advisers, you will only earn 15 points and will be required to complete a teaching project.
Max Points Possible: 30
Bonus points: Regional - +5 points, State - +5 points

3. Meetings – 1 (At least 30 minutes of active attendance required to earn credit)

4. Teacher Assistance – 1 per hour of outside of school help

5. Science Olympiad – 5 for active membership in club (points are awarded after participation in their competitions)
Max Points Possible: 5
6. Walnut Grove, Rock Springs & McKendree Elementary Science Nights - 5
ALL MEMBERS EXPECTED TO ATTEND AT LEAST ONE.
Max Points Possible: 10
7. Other Activities (approved by teacher sponsor) – 1-3 pts. (Buzz on Biotechnology - 3 pts, helping elementary student with science fair – based on hours, t-shirt design (chosen by club))
Max Points Possible: 3
Members must obtain 50 points total to remain in SNHS (juniors) and to receive a cord (seniors).
MEMBERS MUST TURN IN A SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT ON THE FIRST DAY BACK FROM WINTER BREAK TO REMAIN IN SNHS – NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
